Sentry WIFI Solution 2

With stylish design and a comprehensive feature list, the Sentry Wifi is part of our popular Sentry range of alarm systems. Solution 2 is one of our entry level kits offering a very affordable option to protect for home. The alarm can be added to easily in the future if you decided to add extra accessories. Offering Wifi connection to your home broadband network, plus the addition of optional 2G GSM SIM card** backup, this alarm will contact you either via app or SMS if the alarm is activated. Uses the popular Smart Life app which connects many different smart controlled devices for full home automation.

Complete wireless setup - All sensors are completely wireless, no need for messy wiring or complicated installation. All batteries are supplied

Door Chime Feature – Set certain door contacts or PIR’s to ‘chime’ when activated, meaning you can set the alarm so that every time a certain door opens it will give a ‘ding-dong’ from the control panel

Alarm alerts – Instant push alert send to your smartphone in the event of an activation

Full WIFI support – notification made to your smartphone using your existing home broadband network

GSM Backup - system also supports a 2G GSM SIM card as a backup method of notification if home broadband connection is lost


Protection from power cuts - Control panel comes fitted with an internal rechargeable NI-HM backup battery, allowing the panel to run for up to 8 hours without mains power.  Panel is powered by a supplied 5V transformer.


Full alarm history available - see what zone, date and time historic activations occurred, all directly through the app on your smartphone.

Will support up to 99 wireless sensors - this can be made up of PIR’s, door contacts, smoke detectors or vibration sensors

Supports up to 8 wireless key fobs

Supports partial arming, schedule arm/disarm, entry and exit delays

Customisable setup – Name every sensor around the home for easy identification if there is an activation, ie, living room PIR, conservatory door sensor

An excellent cost effective app-enabled alarm

Arrived the next day. Accessories were all paired ready to go. I’ve had a similar early alarm for 7 years and the hosted service was cut off. I’m pleased to say this is a good improvement on the old one. Had problems getting the Wi-fi set up due to timing - eventually it connected on the 10th time of trying. The issue is the need to use the internet from the app immediately followed by the panel’s hotspot, so swapping connections on the phone, and the panel timing out and the Smart-life app timing out makes it tricky.

But it’s still 5 stars as it is well designed, the key fobs are good, PIRs have a good swivel mount, etc.

App seems to work well.

Batteries are all common cheap ones, unlike other systems with high voltage expensive ones.

So need now to see how the reliability is and if there’s any false alarms. If that’s all good I’ll get a smoke alarm and more fobs and sensors.

And of course no costly monthly service charges!

Very helpful pre-sales advice and very fast delivery. This is a great product which arrived with all accessories preconfigured, and a comprehensive set of instructions. The whole system is very easy to use, and all zones can be renamed according to requirements. The app is very good albeit I would like to be able to change the default alarm tone to something louder. The after sales support is first class, with no question left unanswered, and lightning quick responses from the various chat options. Overall, if you are looking for a great product backed up by excellent support, this comes highly recommended.
