I purchased the SENTRY WIFI WIRELESS IP APP CONTROLLED HOUSE ALARM SOLUTION 3.
Installation of the mains powered siren was a bit troublesome in that the power lead from the siren was a little short (approx 1m). I had to feed it up through the soffit and into the loft so could have done with it being perhaps foot or more longer. The design of the siren was a bit weird in that the front cover had to be screwed in place before the siren could be attached to the wall, so it meant putting the screws into the wall, but making sure they stuck out far enough for the siren to be slid onto the screws. Maybe that is the way most sirens have to be fitted but it did seem a little odd.
The rest of the fitting was simple for the base keypad, the door contacts and PIRs.
Another thing I thought was a little strange is that the PIRs and Contacts each have an on/off switch on the outside of the device which means they can be switched off, but I don't think, in my opinion, this will be a problem.
Before I ordered the alarm, I was a little concerned about the wording on the web page describing how the alarm works. It said "The external siren is a full sized siren, measuring 30cm x 19cm x 6cm and has a built in flashing LED comfort light, which activates when the alarm is armed, offering a superb visual deterrent.". So I was thinking, does that mean it flashes when armed and doesn't flash when disarmed meaning a potential burglar would know the status? I sent an email to Global-Gadgets asking that question but the reply was unclear. As it turns out, there is a LED in the siren that flashes when Away Armed, but it is just an indicator that you can see when you set it to Armed, bit like the system giving you a visual when you are outside the house to say it is now armed. And, when you arrive home, you can use your remote control to disarm the alarm and see the LED flash again to confirm your request. So, it is quite a good feature in my opinion.
The response to arming/disarming using the remote keyfob, or the app is instant with no delay.
It has now been installed a couple of weeks and appears to be working fine.
The instructions for setup can be a little misleading, especially the instructions for connecting the system to the app, there are two sets of instructions and the wording could be better.
I would be happy, at this time, to recommend this system to others, especially if you want the ability to arm/disarm using an app. The app also shows a log history of events showing the date/time.

Easy DIY alarm installation
Web site easily accessed. Phoned customer service for tech. question which was answered accurately and professionally. Ordered a system which was delivered virtually next day. Easy installation, phoned tech. support for help on a problem. The problem was solved over the phone, the installation was completed as they stated on web site, all sensors previously configured to main panel. A good experience, would recommend this company.
